Fête24 Provides Large Stretch Tent Hire to Wedding in the Pyrénéés

We were thrilled to recently get the call from one of our favourite wedding planners, Joanne of By Joanne Weddings. In case you’re unfamiliar, she’s one of France’s leading luxury wedding planners and helps dozens of couples plan their local and destination weddings across France each year. 

While we’ve worked with Joanne before at Château de Robernier, this time, we were off to the Pyrénéés to a brand-new venue for us, the utterly stunning Château de Siradan. So let’s tell you all about this fantastic French wedding venue and the work we completed here on what was a superb wedding production.

Stunning Setting for Wedding Production in the Village of Siradan 

Before we jump into the specific setup we provided for this event, it’s worth spending a few moments talking about this incredible wedding venue. Based in the foothills of the Pyrénéés, few châteaus can boast the same stunning backdrop for a wedding celebration, with wooded mountains surrounding the grand buildings on this expansive estate.

While there’s plenty to adore about the outdoor space for this venue, the inside is the perfect blend of modern and ancient. The rooms and accommodation are simply superb, with preserved character features blended seamlessly with modern facilities. In total, there’s space for 24 on-site guests, and the six-acre private park offers space for outdoor celebrations for up to 100 guests.

Incredible venue aside, let’s tell you a bit more about our brief from Joanne who was planning this destination wedding on behalf of an English couple.

The plan was to provide an outdoor entertainment space for the meal and dancing. With the number of guests close to the venue’s limit, we opted for the largest option in our current canvas stretch tent lineup (we’re soon to carry a 28m x 10m sail tent as part of our event tent hire inventory – it’s available for events in 2025 onwards).

Erecting this tent was a slight challenge because most of the surface was grass while roughly a third was on loose gravel. But, of course, we’ve seen it all in the events industry and were easily able to make the necessary adjustments.

We complemented the stretch tent with our signature oversized festoon lights around the tent’s canvas perimeter and finished off the setup with premium coconut matting for the floor. It looked perfect just a few metres from the entrance of this grand château, and Joanne and the couple were thrilled with it.
