Your Complete List of Wedding Florists for Your Upcoming Wedding in Southern France
02/01/2025As part of our ongoing series researching and listing the best wedding suppliers in the business in our region, we have compiled a complete list of wedding florists for your upcoming wedding in the South of France.
Whether you're planning a local fairytale wedding at an ancient chateau or you’re celebrating a destination wedding at a bold and chic wedding venue, flowers are always a pivotal part of your day. From your groom’s boutonnière to your wedding arch and reception dinner table decorations, florals influence many critical aspects of your celebration.
So, we’ve gone out, researched, and compiled who we think are the bee's knees of the wedding flowers business in and around Southern France.
As with our list of wedding planners and our live band/DJs directory, some of these suppliers we’ve had the pleasure of working with, while others have excellent reputations we’ve just heard through the grapevine of the industry.
Wedding Florists in Southwest France
So, without further ado, here’s our extensively researched list of wedding florists that serve Southwestern France and beyond. Many of our recommendations are based on firsthand experience, but we’ve done our due diligence on the rest. So grab your pen and paper, and start noting down those who catch your eye.
1. Silk Flowers France
First up is none other than Silk Flowers France, which is run by UK native Claire Smith. We’ve had the pleasure of sharing a few weddings with Claire, and we’ve always been left stunned by what she is able to create with flowers (which often complements our wedding lighting very nicely!).
One of the ways she’s able to do this is by primarily using artificial flowers (as the name suggests), which deliver several advantages. Firstly, it means you can pretty much use any flowers you like – irrespective of whether they’re out of season or unavailable via traditional channels. Summer flowers in the middle of winter are not a problem.
But there are other advantages too. For instance, they are much more resistant to movement (think transportation), and there are no worries about them wilting in the hot French sunshine over a couple of days. It’s more sustainable as all the flowers you choose can be reused rather than having to be heartbreakingly dismantled after just 24 or 48 hours. Better yet, she often mixes artificial with fresh, so you don’t even lose the aroma you’d normally have with the real thing. We know because we’ve smelt them ourselves!
Regarding the types of installations available, Silk Flowers France does them all. Wedding arches, buttonholes, table runners, garlands, bouquets, and our favourite, ceiling installations. Check out our Instagram post here that shows her work at No. 3 The Chateau – it really enhanced our wedding dance floor hire package, and trust us when we say you’d never know they weren’t real! We also love this floral wall installation from a wedding at Manoir Beaulieu, which measured over 5m and served as a photo backdrop for guests.

“Claire has a unique eye for detail. Her flowers are truly spectacular!
Love my bouquet and it sits with pride in my kitchen. Two years on it’s still as beautiful and makes me smile. Memories of our wedding. A permanent reminder.”
2. LP Floral Designer
Another worthy candidate for your flower arrangements is LP Floral Designer, run by Ludivine Pécusseau from Bordeaux. She has a stellar track record, and while the business was only created back in 2018, she’s been in the industry for more than 20 years working under the wings of industry leaders and has won two national awards for her work.
We’ve very nearly crossed paths with her a few times as she has worked at many of the venues where we are both named (preferred) suppliers (such as Château de Garde), but alas, we have not had the chance to put a name to a face yet!
Regarding her services, she offers to work in two distinct ways. You can either have the full turnkey service, where she offers three all-inclusive floral installations. Or you can opt to have a completely tailored floral installation, where she will sit down with you as a couple and discuss what you’re looking to achieve with your flowers and what you want more specifically before providing a completely bespoke package.
Either approach includes delivery, installation, dismantling, and removal of the rented equipment. The flowers will also be present at each element of your celebration (cortege, ceremony, cocktail, reception, etc.).
What we really like about Ludivine and her team is that they limit themselves to two weddings per week to ensure you receive her full attention and her standard of work is top-notch. It’s hard to pick highlights when everything is so great, but we thought her recent work at Château Gassies for a destination wedding was superb. Make sure you check out her Instagram page or her website gallery to truly appreciate what she’s capable of.

“We booked with Ludivine for our wedding in Chateau de Garde in July this year and we’re absolutely delighted with her work! I adore flowers and it was really important to me that my flowers were a standout feature at our wedding and I must say Ludivine delivered! LP Floral created the flowers of my dreams and were so pleasant to deal with! They were also so efficient and quick at relocating my flowers from my church to the venue! It was seamless! I wish I could keep them forever, thank you!”
3. Agnès Laye
Yet another wedding florist we’ve very nearly met is Agnès Laye. She’s offered her destination wedding expertise to almost all of the venues we’ve had the pleasure of working at, so it’s only going to be a matter of time before we cross paths!
Regarding reputation and experience, Agnès is right up there and has had her wedding florals featured in big-name publications, including Vogue and a host of other top wedding blogs and magazines.
She works a little differently from other wedding florists. She starts with a sit down with you (or a virtual meetup since she specialises in destination weddings) to discuss ideas before going away to develop and present you with a completely bespoke ideas board (and an accompanying quote). You can then decide whether or not you’re on the same page and whether you want to continue.
As with pretty much all florists on this list, she does the full spectrum of wedding floral arrangements, bouquets, floral crowns, table arrangements, archways, buttonholes, posies, and anything else you might need.
What we like about Agnès is that she focuses on producing quality rather than quantity and works really hard to use flowers as something to accent or motif a venue, rather than swarm or overwhelm it. She’s got the gift of arranging flowers in a way that perfectly complements any given space. Take, for example, her recent installation at No. 3 the Château. Her perfect selection of creams and greens makes the florals blend in seamlessly with this incredible venue. And we are massive fans of her table decorations. They are so pretty and yet understated. Check out her website gallery to have a look at some of the table decorations she’s done in the past – we think they’re great!

“Agnès supplied the flowers for our wedding in August this year and she was brilliant! Agnès created exactly what we were looking for, the arrangements were all so beautiful and the flower crown she made for me couldn't have been prettier. All the flowers were delicate and fit our rustic French theme perfectly. Agnès was so easy to communicate with and we really appreciated that she accommodated a couple of last-minute requests. The flowers lasted for ages too, even in the summer heat!”
4. Poésie d’un Jour
Speaking of florists who have been featured in Vogue Weddings and other leading wedding sites, our next recommendation is Véronique of Poésie d’un Jour (Poetry of a Day) who shares the same distinction. Her passion for flowers was first ignited after visiting the world-famous International Floralies festival at the tender age of 13, and the rest, as they say, was history.
Over the years, she’s worked as a floral designer and luxury wedding florist for hundreds of couples and her work can often be seen at some of the most in-demand wedding venues in the region including Château la Durantie – a venue at which we’ve had the pleasure of working ourselves and Domaine d’Essendiéras, another one of our recent assignments.
She has built her reputation primarily on designing and supplying some of the most stunning bouquets we’ve ever seen. But she also handles all elements of floral design, including table decoration and event décor.
She’s adept at designing and supplying florals for both large, extravagant affairs and more laidback, rustic celebrations. Regarding the latter, we recommend checking out her recent work for a wedding at Domaine de Castelet, where her bouquets worked perfectly with the burnt orange bridesmaid dresses and the table decorations were the perfect addition to the rustic/boho chic theme to the wedding reception.

“We had a wonderful experience with Véronique and her team. We contacted her when planning our wedding in Dordogne, France from the United States. She transformed our venue into a floral paradise, exceeding all of our expectations. Her attention to detail, creativity, and dedication truly made our wedding day unforgettable. It was unusually warm in France on our wedding day, she worked tirelessly to ensure our flowers were fresh for the 4pm ceremony. Every petal was perfect, and I can't recommend her enough for her exceptional work! Five stars all the way!”
5. SDSQ Créations
Moving on to our next florist, Sarah de Saint Quentin of SDSQ Créations has been making quite the name for herself in the Southwest France wedding industry. We’ve heard and seen great things from her and feel she is more than worthy of making this list.
As you would expect, she offers a broad spectrum of floral arrangements and wedding flower packages, including boutonnières, bridal bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets, and centrepiece decorations. She’s also available to create bespoke installations, for structures such as wedding arches.
Just a quick browse of her social media channels reveals just how talented she is and how varied her arrangements are. It’s clear that she’s not tied to any specific style or aesthetic, she is someone who takes the lead from you as a couple and then delivers your vision. We absolutely loved her bridal bouquet at a recent wedding at Château Dauzac, and you can also check out her amazing orange and red-themed bridal and bridesmaid bouquet for a wedding at Château de Garde here.
If you’re looking to forge a closer relationship with a freelance floral designer rather than utilising a larger wedding flower supplier with preset packages, Sarah might be the choice for you.

“Wahoo!!!! To start off my bridal bouquet was amazing, crazy flowers and colours. The comb for my bun that fit perfectly with the theme (without seeing it on the test run). And finally the general decoration made the reception venue magical. The guests also found the compositions magnificent and even left with a few. And in our house we dry them to keep them as memories. Sarah completely understood the theme, our wants, and expectations. Sarah is a sweet, funny, bubbly person. Thank you again!”
6. Fleurs Design by Faustine
Our next pick is someone else who boasts an incredible track record both in the UK and France. Fleurs Design by Faustine was born in 2015 after spending a decade working for esteemed florists in London.
Faustine has an incredible CV, which includes designing and installing floral arrangements at Gherkin, Harrods, the Orient Express, luxury jewellers Bulgari, Boodles, Boucheron, hotels such as The Threadneedles, The Halkin, and she’s even supplied her expertise to Royal Courts of Justice. As if that wasn’t enough she’s worked on major TV and movie sets advising and arranging flowers, including ITV’s Mr. Selfridge and the live-action remake of The Beauty and the Beast.
Since settling back in her home town of Montpellier, she has been supplying her floristry skills to weddings right across the South of France and has worked at most of the leading wedding domaines and châteaus. She doesn’t have any preset packages, she’ll sit down with you, discuss what you’re looking for and create a unique suite of flowers for your special day, including bouquets, centrepieces, floral arches, and anything else you might need.
It’s also clear from viewing her work that she has a real eye for matching florals with a particular setting and theme. If you look at her recent work for a wedding at Domaine de Saint Germain, you can see how the bouquet seems to simultaneously capture the rustic theme, the colour of the bridesmaid's dresses, and the venue styling with beautiful use of the colour orange in particular. We also love this bridal bouquet she produced for a wedding at Domaine du Beyssac.

"Faustine was incredibly easy to work with and provided exactly what we asked for over two days of wedding celebrations this spring. I was planning the wedding from the States, but she was readily available to discuss our needs and preferences; and her arrangements were exactly what we wanted, despite the relatively little guidance we were able to give her from afar. She has wonderful taste, was very flexible with the drop off and equipment pick up times, and equally as importantly also incredibly pleasant to interact with. Her beautiful flowers were fresh, expertly arranged, created the ambiance we wanted for our guests, and photographed very well. I wish that I could've taken them all with us when we left the Chateau! Merci encore, Faustine.”
7. FleuriBelle
If you want something truly unique for your flowers then look no further than FleuriBelle. This company is a fully-fledged 100% organic flower farm in the Dordogne region run by Moraig and Mark de Witt, where you can order your flowers before they are even mere seeds in the ground! They grow all kinds of flowers, but specialise in peonies, growing over 26 different varieties.
Working with them, as you might expect, is a little different. They recommend you start by looking at their visual inspiration page before getting in touch with your ideas and requirements. After a Zoom consultation, they then come back to you with a personalised mood board and a quote (they ask for a minimum budget of €700).
Once you’ve approved that, they will line up the perfect seasonal timing and weather conditions before planting the seeds for your bouquets, centrepieces, and wedding arch flowers. They then wait patiently for them to grow before harvesting for your special day. Talk about farm-to-table! If you’re working on shorter notice, you can simply pick from the dozens of options they grow every year.
Of course, the slight drawback is that they only supply flowers grown on their farm, and not all plants yield the perfect flowers. But if authenticity is your thing, having local French flowers grown, supplied, and arranged for you is certainly something really special that adds a unique and magical touch to your celebrations.
Plus, when you look at their work over on their Instagram page, we think you’ll agree that their bouquets and arrangements are absolutely amazing. Just take a look at the decorations above the stone arch for a recent wedding at Château du Raysse (a venue we’d have the pleasure of working at multiple times). They certainly aren’t lacking in any way, shape, or form!

“We chose FleuriBelle for our outdoor wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made. The flowers were simply stunning, adding a natural and fragrant beauty to our special day. The owners were incredibly friendly, supportive, and lovely throughout the entire process, making us feel truly valued as customers. They took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life with their exquisite floral arrangements. Every bloom was fresh, vibrant, and arranged with such artistry that our guests couldn’t stop complimenting them.
The attention to detail was impeccable, from the colour palette to the choice of flowers that complemented our theme perfectly. It was clear that the flowers were grown and selected with great care, reflecting FleuriBelle’s dedication to quality and sustainability. The arrangements held up beautifully throughout the day, despite being outdoors, which speaks volumes about their quality. Overall, our experience with FleuriBelle was exceptional. They exceeded our expectations in every way, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome.”
