Having recently shared our experience of providing event production services at the stunning Chateau du Raysse in Cazoulès, we were thrilled to be invited back to this incredible venue so soon after our first outing. 

Literally just a stone's throw from the picturesque Dordogne River, this medieval castle, which dates back to 1155, was every bit as captivating as we remembered it as we pulled into this stunning wedding venue.

We couldn't have been more excited when we were approached to help with Erica and Ben's Easter weekend wedding celebration. The opportunity to collaborate with this lovely couple and bring their wedding vision to life in such a magnificent setting wasn't one we were going to pass up!

So, let’s quickly delve into the various elements of wedding event production we provided to ensure their day was nothing short of spectacular.

Before diving into our work at this beautiful wedding, it’s worth restating how incredible this venue is. As a quick reminder, it's got these lovely quaint and secluded terraces, extensive formal gardens, and not one but two inviting swimming pools. So it's fair to say it's nigh on the perfect setting for hosting unforgettable wedding receptions and parties.

For us here at Fête24, Erica and Ben's wedding marked the first of the season, and we couldn't have asked for a more delightful couple or a more enchanting venue to kick things off. And the Easter weekend timing certainly added that little extra touch of magic to the atmosphere.

In the build-up, we worked with both the couple and the venue to get the requirements for their outdoor reception and then set about creating the perfect event production elements for their needs.

OK, let’s dive into what we did for this lovely wedding. As is the norm for all our event bookings, we supplied a range of equipment and services designed to enhance the overall ambience and guest experience. 

One of the standout features was our gorgeous 10m x 7.5m open-sided canvas stretch tent, which offered the best of both worlds – shelter from the elements while allowing unobstructed views of the stunning surroundings. This versatile structure created a comfortable and inviting space for guests to mingle and enjoy their wedding breakfast meal. 

To further elevate the atmosphere, we supplied festoon lighting, which we attach to the edge of the canvas stretch tent. As the sun began to set, these twinkling lights created a magical ambience, casting a warm glow over the festivities. To round things off, we also provided outdoor flooring in the form of coconut / hessian matting – perfect for finishing off the overall look of the stretch tent plus the matting also supports the tables and chairs & adds a little extra comfort too (please note we can also supply stretch tents without the matting if required). 

Collaborating with other talented suppliers is always a pleasure. For this event, we had the privilege of working alongside Crazy Diamond, the catering team responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience. Their culinary creations looked as delicious as they tasted, and their attention to detail and presentation perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic of the wedding meanwhile the wooden farm tables & rustic crossback chairs chairs were supplied by Sandra @ Le Petit Pichet
