We recently had the absolute pleasure of providing comprehensive technical production services for an incredibly energetic two-day wedding celebration at the stunning Château de la Bourlie in the Dordogne region. 

Working alongside the fantastic All the Feels Live party band, we delivered multiple sound system setups, lighting packages, and backline equipment across various locations throughout this beautiful estate.

This was exactly the type of multi-faceted event production that really showcases what we're capable of when it comes to seamless technical coordination across different spaces and requirements. So, let’s jump in and tell you more about what we did and how we helped pull off what was a fantastic destination wedding celebration.

Comprehensive Audio Systems Delivered Across Multiple Wedding Celebration Areas at Château de la Bourlie

The technical requirements for this celebration were as diverse as they were demanding, with each part of the day requiring a completely different audio setup. 

We kicked things off with the outdoor ceremony on the front lawn, where we installed our RCF 732AMK5 speaker system paired with wireless handheld microphones to ensure every word of the vows and speeches carried clearly to all the guests.

For the drinks reception, we relocated around the side of the venue and deployed another dedicated RCF PA system. This setup included our wireless DPA 4099 microphone system, specifically configured for the saxophone player, allowing them to move freely while delivering that smooth, ambient sound that perfectly complemented the cocktail hour atmosphere.

As the celebration moved into the dinner portion of the evening, we transitioned to the main courtyard where we installed a more comprehensive setup. This included our complete sound equipment package, Pioneer CDJ2000NXS2 + DJM900NXS2 DJ equipment, and multiple wireless Sennheiser G4 in-ear monitoring systems for the performing artists.

Professional Sound System and Backline Equipment Deliver Premium Performance Quality at Dordogne Wedding

Once dinner concluded and the party moved indoors for the main entertainment, we really got to showcase our premium equipment inventory. We deployed our d&b Audiotechnik Q series sound system using a pair of d&b Qsubs a pair of d&b Q7 midtops powered off a pair of d&b D12 amps, which delivered that crystal-clear audio quality you simply can't get from lesser systems. The difference is immediately noticeable, both for the performers and the guests, and really gives you that “main stage” vibe as soon as the performance starts. 

Our backline hire package for this portion of the event included an extensive percussion setup featuring LP bongos, LP congas, and additional percussion equipment that allowed the All the Feels Live band to deliver their signature high-energy performance. 

We also supplied four channels of wireless Sennheiser G4 in-ear monitor systems, ensuring the saxophone player, vocalists, and percussion section could all hear exactly what they needed throughout their performance. With so many elements to bring together, those ways of IEMs help deliver that crucial cohesion that you can sometimes lose when you’re relying on stage monitors alone.

But we weren’t done there. The DJs were the ones to bring it all home into the early hours of the morning, and, for them, we adhered to their rider with a couple of d&b audiotechnik M4 stage monitors alongside a pair of Pioneer CDJ2000NX2 players and a DJM900NX2 mixer, all housed within our sleek black DJ booth.

The pool party setup on day two required yet another configuration, where we switched to our RCF 732A MK5 sound system paired with a Pioneer XDJ-ZX DJ controller. We complemented this with additional LP percussion equipment and both wireless in-ear monitors and handheld wireless microphones, ensuring the poolside festivities maintained that same professional audio quality as the main celebration.

It was a breathless but fantastic event, and absolutely everyone was a pleasure to work with, including the venue, planner, and other wedding suppliers. We’re looking forward to coming back to this venue for another celebration in the near future.
