Fête24 Provides Extensive Wedding Event Production Services At Le Beauvallon near Saint-Tropez

We recently had the pleasure of supplying our wedding event production services to a high-end celebration held at one of the most stunning venues we’ve ever had the pleasure of working at. The venue in question was Le Beauvallon, a stunning wedding and events venue based in Grimaud, overlooking the bay to Saint-Tropez.

The multifaceted venue is completely unique (as we’ll explain), and we were fortunate enough to receive a call from Best Events Co., a high-end wedding planning service, to provide our services at this jaw-dropping location.

So let’s tell you a little more about the venue and delve into our varied work on this special occasion.

A Stunning Wedding Location in the South of France

While there may be hundreds of choices for couples looking to tie the knot in the French Riviera, you would do well to beat Le Beauvallon. This incredible event and wedding venue is on the coast road between Saint-Tropez and Sainte-Maxime overlooking the picture-perfect Gulf of Saint-Tropez.

The venue itself consists of several striking buildings and outdoor areas that lend themselves perfectly to weddings. The “upper half” is set back from the coast road and features a bright red châteaux-style building, formal gardens, an indoor winter garden, a couple of beautiful terraces with sea views, a formal ballroom, and top-class accommodation for up to 80 guests. 

But it gets even better! That’s only half the venue! On the other side of the road is the second half of the events space, which features a stunning rotunda building, an outdoor swimming pool, a seaside boardwalk, and a pavilion. It’s the perfect spot for those of you looking for a celebration right on the sea. It doesn’t get much better than this!

However, once we had picked our collective jaws off the floor, we remembered that we had a job to do for this three-day wedding event. And so, shortly after arrival and a quick walk around, we got straight to work. Let’s walk you through it.

As mentioned, this event lasted for a whole weekend. So, for the sake of ease, describe our work in chronological order. 

The first setup was for the outdoor ceremony, which was held on the beautiful sprawling lawn right in front of the main building. We provided an RCF PA system and wireless Shure UR2 microphones for the speeches. We then tweaked this setup for the live jazz band that played during the cocktail hour and the speeches made at the evening dinner, but they were all similar.

The “main event” for us was the extensive backline hire package booked for the live entertainment. This featured all kinds of equipment. We supplied a DW Collector Series drum kit, a Nord Stage 3 88-key keyboard, and a whole host of sound equipment for the wedding band

For instance, we supplied a full d&b audiotechnik Q7 sound system, including monitors and subs. For the performers, we provided nine ways of Sennheiser G4 in-ear monitors, brought over those Shure UR2 wireless handheld microphones, and set them up in the grand ballroom. Everything was mixed and controlled via a Midas M32 mixing desk with a DL32 stage rack.

For the DJ who followed on until the end of proceedings, we provided DJ equipment that consisted of a pair of Pioneer CDJ2000NX2 with a DJM900NSX2 and a d&b M4 stage monitor. 

Lastly, our lighting setup brought an extra visual excitement to the space. First, we used 8 LED light strips and 4 LED hybrid “flower effects” mounted on gravity stands. This was followed up with 8 moving head lights positioned on the stage that delivered a range of beams, spots, and washes for the evening. All of the above was controlled via a ChamSys MQ80 lighting desk.

After a cracking wedding celebration, we were back bright and early to start working on the Sunday pool party setup. We provided a black DJ booth, hooked up our DJ equipment from the night before, and complemented it with a range of wireless Bose battery-powered speakers for poolside music.

Once that was over, it was time to break everything down, load up, and head back home! In total, we were there for three days: Friday for the setup, Saturday for the finishing touches, live sound mixing and lighting control, and then Sunday for the pool party and take-down.
