Fête24 Provides Complete Technical Production Package for Live Performance in Die, France

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of providing a comprehensive technical event production setup for a live performance in Die, located in the stunning southeastern region of France. While it might have been a smaller-scale event compared to some of our larger wedding productions, it was the perfect opportunity to showcase our complete range of services working together seamlessly.

These more intimate live performance setups are always a joy to work on. Every piece of equipment matters that little bit more, and the attention to detail really shines through when you're creating a top-tier experience for both performers and audience.

Comprehensive Sound and Backline Hire Package Provided to Deliver Superior Live Music Performance in Drôme Region

We started the setup by installing a 6m x 2m white carpeted stage, providing the performers with a professional platform that looked clean and polished. The white carpeting not only gave a smart appearance but also helped better define the performance space within the venue, giving it much more of a focal point. 

For the audio foundation, we deployed our trusted d&b audiotechnik Q7 sound system. We didn’t install the full speaker array for this PA system, but the clarity and coverage you get from the Q series speakers is simply unmatched and was more than enough for the crowd size. 

The backline requirements for this performance were more comprehensive, and we were delighted to provide everything the artists needed. We supplied our DW drum kit – always a favourite with professional drummers for its rich, warm tone and reliable hardware. The bassist was set up with our MarkBass 58R bass amp, known for delivering that punchy, clear bass sound that cuts through the mix beautifully.

Our Marshall JVM410 guitar amp provided the guitarist with plenty of versatility and that classic Marshall sound, while the keyboardist had access to our Nord Stage 3 88-key keyboard. The latter is a great piece of kit and an absolute workhorse for us, covering everything from pristine piano sounds to vintage organ tones and modern synths.

We also provided a full LP percussion assortment, giving the performers access to additional textures and rhythmic elements to enhance their performance. For monitoring, we supplied 6 Sennheiser G4 wireless in-ear monitor systems, ensuring each performer could hear exactly what they needed without the drawbacks of traditional stage wedges.

All of this audio was controlled through our Midas M32R live console (another one of our workhorses), which we then paired with a DL32 stage rack. 

We complemented this with a minimalist lighting setup controlled via a Wolfmix controller, providing just the right amount of visual enhancement without overwhelming the intimate atmosphere.

This event was particularly special for us as it showcased our expanded backline hire capabilities, a service we've been developing significantly since 2024. 

As a family-owned event rental and production company in the Dordogne region, we've invested heavily in building our backline inventory to meet the growing demand from live bands performing at weddings and corporate events across France.

Our backline hire service now includes premium brands like the aforementioned DW drums, Nord, Marshall, Sennheiser, and so many more. We remained on site throughout the performance to handle the live sound mixing, ensuring every song sounded its absolute best.
